Body Canvas is a small business run by husband & wife team, Raphaelle &
Gary Fieldhouse. We are based near Caerphilly in South Wales,
though we are more than happy to travel and have very competitive
prices.
The business started with Raphaelle doing face and body painting and has grown rapidly according to demand. Gary runs the bouncy castles, balloon modelling and entertainment side of things whilst Raphaelle concentrates on the more creative aspects of the business. Whilst this website gives details of what we already do, don't be afraid to ask for other things as we are always looking to expand our repertoire providing there is a need. There is also a nice article in 'The Mirror' at www.facepaint-uk.com Having first seen 'proper' face painting some 12 years ago, Raphaelle was instantly inspired and captured by its infinite possibilities and began teaching herself the intricacies of her new found fascination. The advancement of this new art started slowly with family birthdays and local Carnivals in West Wales. However after a trip around Europe, and moving to Cardiff, she became self employed in July 1998. Raphaelle has an Arts background and is also a qualified Theatrical & Media Make-up Artist. She is a fully insured and certified member of F.A.C.E., The Face Painting Association. |
